Torcisão products include cold-drawn bars, drawn wire and grounding solutions. Each line serves a different need. Therefore, choose the product according to the application and customer specification.
Product lines
Three product families, different applications
First, identify the product family. Then check the steel grade, dimensions and finish. Finally, confirm the supply format and technical requirements.
Cold-Drawn Bars
The line includes low-, medium- and high-carbon steels. It also includes resulfurized 11SMn37 steel. Therefore, use the order specification to define finish, tolerance and supply conditions.
Drawn Wire
Torcisão groups drawn wire into low-, medium- and high-carbon ranges. Each group covers different steel grades. In addition, the team can evaluate coils or spiders during quotation.
Grounding Rods and Connectors
Torcisão supplies low-layer grounding rods up to 20 microns. It also supplies high-layer rods at 254 microns. Therefore, use the project specification to define dimensions and requirements.
What should you provide when requesting a quote?
A complete specification makes the quotation easier to assess. Therefore, provide:
- product or product family;
- diameter, dimension or copper layer, when applicable;
- required quantity;
- application and technical requirements;
- finish or supply format, when already defined.
